	<abstract>El presente proyecto de valoración de servicios ecosistémicos se desarrolló con el objetivo de aportar conocimiento integral acerca de los servicios ecosistémicos aportados por arrecifes de coral de Isla Cayos de Albuquerque, generando conocimiento integral acerca de la biodiversidad y de los servicios ecosistémicos que aportan los arrecifes de coral, se enfatizaron en el trabajo de campo el servicio de provisión de hábitat y refugio de biodiversidad (macroalgas y peces arrecifales) con mediciones de atributos del arrecife como la complejidad topográfica submarina, porcentajes de cobertura del bentos, composición, abundancia y biomasa de peces arrecifales, de macroalgas e interacciones coral-céspedes algales), con un enfoque a la conectividad ecosistémica y el servicio de protección costera para evaluar de manera cuantitativa y con datos de campo la capacidad de atenuación de la energía del oleaje en distintas áreas de la barrera arrecifal ubicada al Este de la Isla Cayos de Albuquerque. Se logró cumplir con los objetivos y metas planteadas, como la toma de muestras e identificación de amplia biodiversidad de macroalgas, el levantamiento de complejidad topográfica submarina en más de 15 estaciones y su relación con el servicio ecosistémico de hábitat para peces arrecifales con el registro de las especies de peces presentes con datos cuantitativos de abundancia y rangos de tallas, con lo que se puede realizar análisis ecológicos y poder comparar también con otras islas como Serranilla con los datos tomados durante la expedición 2017.
Este recurso en particular consigna la información de peces censados visualmente durante la expedición Seaflower 2018 con un total de 122 registros.</abstract><supplinf>This dataset was downloaded from OBIS (https://obis.org/). The records for only marine mammals, seabirds, sea turtles and rays and sharks were extracted. Records with no longitude/latitude or no date (eventDate) were excluded.
