Wider Caribbean Sea Turtle Nesting Sites - British Virgin Islands

Abstract

Five species of sea turtle nest on the British Virgin Islands, with hawksbills being the most common. The taking of eggs, leatherbacks and loggerheads is prohibited at all times, and the turtle fishery is governed by seasonal closure and minimum size limits.
