Purpose

CCES = California Current Ecosystem Survey
Objective: Joint survey for coastal pelagic fish stock, cetaceans and seabirds, to update fish and cetacean stock assessments and study spatial predator-prey relationships.
Vessel: NOAA Ship Reuben Lasker.
Study area: waters off the west coasts of southern Canada (Vancouver Island), U.S., and northern Mexico (Baja California).
